I don’t know why we’re tolerating the level of insult hurled upon us by the teachers.

One expects us doomed to fail if we stay together as a class, has split us and is yet to see results.

Another has her days. She gives us talks day to day about our results and how we need to buck up and we heed her advice for abit and then die down.

One just expects our class to fuck up.

Another tries to get the class to work hard, but are we truly doing enough?

We came into the institution with raw scores that averaged 9 points. We’re a smart bunch of kids but we’re not justifying these points. Whatever Ministry of Education projected our grades to be our A levels we’re nothing close to that. We’re not waking up to the realization that the final stretch has already come upon us, let not the March Block Tests be a harbinger of doom for our A levels. Come next march, we are not to cry out of disappointment but everything the opposite of it.

The teachers are trying to do their best to help us succeed but are we truly doing our best to justify the sheer amount of effort they are putting in to aid us in our journey to the As? Are we truly able to imbibe whatever they have given us? We need to start working hard, persevering hard, encourage each other and pushing each other to reach the common goal and in this we are more than classmates, colleagues, co-workers we are comrades.

In whatever way you can, help someone in need of assistance. If that person is sleeping off in a lecture (which I am, thank you evelyn) wake him/her up, tutorials are not meant to be copied but to be understood, sit each other down and work hard people!

We may feel like an EM3 class but we sure as fuck hell aren’t. The impetus is up to us to kick one habit and introduce another and to introduce a good one at that.

There were 26 of us, 3 are now gone, do we want even more? I’m willing to work even harder just for the rest of you to get even better grades. One of gaurav’s stupid quotes made sense, if the sky’s the limit then why are there footprints on the moon?
