Stop,Stare,Look,Listen.
This is a reminder to all who exist diligently in Meridian College, for those who are fighting the same battle as we are comrades to attain that final goal and we march on, feet heavy.
Upon our feet are boots filled with lead, heavy but protecting us against the onset and influx of a raging flash flood, our socks pulled up, pulled down protecting the ligaments that serve as an adhesive. We are one hand writing upon the sheets of justice and economy, though the fingers are numb and the pen is inkless, let out sweat and tears be that ink to convey our message.
I want all of you to know that we are all in this together. No matter what drama that may befall us at home, outside home, in school and outside school, no one is never really alone in Meridian College. No. one. walks. alone.
I am here to support you as you are to support me, today was the emptiest Meridian had been in a long time but in that emptiness there still lay a buzz and a murmur of support for me as I ran, and I played and I thought about the biggest of margins to the smallest. Each and everyone of us are ixoras upon a hedge, nectar overflowing of graciousness and the propensity to be kind.
I love each and every Meridian because their hearts and pure but we must all remember to stop, stare, look and listen to one another in times of need.
In Meridian, no one walks alone.
