Merry Boxing Day!

So Christmas is over, everyone’s got their presents and we’re all tired. The past three days have been magical. A christmas gathering with Loretta’s family, a dinner with Loretta and uh…now, more Loretta. Sounds interesting right, to hell it is.

Christmas Eve was spent at a Christmas gathering and it was weird because this was the first time I shaked hands not for the purpose of greeting a fellow Muslim but to wish someone Merry Christmas. Food was oily but good, everyone there was cheerful and I really enjoyed myself. Questions if I’m her boyfriend are still around but her aunties & uncles recognize me as her “friend” and now they think I’m half-filipino and half-malay. How exotic.

Had lunch with my parents on Christmas itself and then dinner at Barracks @ Dempsey. We just blew our money but it was worth it because the food was good but the ambience even better, wouldn’t mind going back there again. Total bil? 142.42! That was for 2 people but I’m looking forward to eating at other places Belle recommends, awesome stuff. The Herb-crusted lamb rack ftw!

So, thank you all for messaging me (you know who you are!), attempting to call but my phone was off, wishing me on facebook, Evelyn for the card (you’re THE awesome girl) and Loretta, for well everything these past few months. I can never thank you and love you enough!
