Chapter 127: Sunrays and Saturdays
Am spending the day doing work and have a lot to cover, my head’s been having massive pangs of momentary pain. Maybe a slight concussion from absorbing too many graphs and the mind trying to fill in empty gapsin notes. I only just realised I missed a Chemistry lecture on Monday and my notes are not filled and I had to either leave a question blank or leave parts of the question blank.
Which somehow relates itself to life when you’re not present for something major or something at which every other person in the world is but you. And you have to rely on what people say, how they answer you and blogs to find out about what happened. Something very clingy and typical of a person-with-nothing-better-to-do but sometimes when you’re left out you have to find out about what happened. i admit I do such things when I’m not present for something.
But sometimes living without knowing something is the best. Ignorance is bliss and well, so is marriage. Why bliss? Because being ignorant of a friend’s flaws or how everyone views him/her makes you a better friend and being married casts a bigger net of ignorance because you become even more ignorant of your partner’s flaws- or willingly internalize it.
The most long-lasting marriages or relationships arise out of two situations. One, whereby the partners are truly soulmates and life partners and they have a wonderfully fraught-free relationship. The other is more or less happy but even though fight occurs, everything’s alright in the end because either party gives in at one point or another. Now, if the male gives in that’s what you call a hen-packed husband or someone so mightily insecure. But hey, giving in does bring about happiness.
See, if two of the parties continue fighting and continue blaming each other, it all ends up unhappy and winnie the pooh dead.
Talking about winnie the pooh, we should never follow his example. He is a bad example for kids especially fat ones who have a higher risk of suffering from diabetes and he’s a prospective paedophile? Why? Because firstly, that fat bear does nothing but eat all day and he doesn’t eat anything normal but honey? OK, he exercises by running (or more like tumbling) around searching for honey but his intake WAY > exercise.
He’s a kid monster because he hangs around piglet who looks like a runt who’s 2 months old. Pooh’s a 100.
Yesterday we were talking about kids shows because we(the captains) mused about how similar our five colours were to the bloody power rangers. Minus the white ranger and the pink ranger.

We were taking pictures for most of the day. Fools!

Shut up I don’t know where the green ranger went to.
Anyway, nothing on Kids central or nickelodeon or cartoon network(except Martin Mystery, totally spies and spongebob, fantastic four, ben 10) rocks like the kids in the old school did.
Remember Captain Planet?

Digimon’s first 3 seasons were the best.

Doraemon. I remember being traumatized by the Indonesian version.

Dragonball Z- one of the best ultimate animes ever.

Then there was the original Batman- undefeatable among all cartoon shows for its plot. There was X-men for its cool time bending concepts and of course their powers with a crazy wolverine. Spiderman the original one because of his irritating one liners. Do you remember speedy gonzalez as well? I do, the one that went ariba ariba andre andrey!

Crazy shit mouse.

Bloody turtles.
Despite their outrageous storylines, i religiously watched the cartoons on Kids Central or before that known as Premiere 12. And we all know we stayed tune at the start especially for the intro song. The pokemon first theme song pwned all:
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause…
I will travel across the land, searching far and wide,
Each Pokemon to understand, the power that’s inside.
Pokemon…gotta catch ‘em all!!
It’s you and me…
I know it’s my destiny
Pokemon…Oh..you’re my best friend,
in a world we must defend.
Pokemon…Gotta catch ‘em all!!
A heart so true–Our courage will pull us through!
You teach me and I’ll teach you!
Pokemon!
Gotta Catch ‘Em All!
Gotta Catch ‘Em All!
POKE-KE-MON!
HAHAHAHA< WTF

You just made me reminisce about my childhood (: Nostalgic.
lol lol lol lol lol lol
i could see the resemblance of both pictures!!!
they should re-air captain planet. to all the kids in their air-conditioned rooms and all the teachers in their little air-conditioned world where the doors arent ever closed.
im a planeteer!
@Syasa: Hey Syaf! Yes, I miss childhood, being a teenager in 2008 sucks.
@Zakiah: OHHH! I found out the green ranger died and reincarnated as the white ranger!
@Az: But captain planet seriosly didn’t teach much. haha, i just liked his hair. And yes a wannabe planateer here!
