Chapter Seventy-Five: Only fools rush in

Hello, been quite awhile since I’ve stepped here. Been busy with Orientation2 and school…basically.

Orientation was OK, it wasn’t as fun as the first but the last night was good. Butterfly is such a pussy name for a rocking band, Irsyad, change it please.

Dance concert, Elysium was really good. The time passed really fast though but I had my fun coupled with the fact that I got an $18 ticket for $10 but ended up sitting at the $15 tics at the top. Good view though.

Also went back to my tuition centre the other day because I had nothing to do on a lazy Sunday and my cousin was going to the centre for tuition as well… I spent 30-45 minutes talking to the teacher and him giving advice.

He said something about life being full of cycles (in no particularlink to the O results). I reckon that what he spoke is the truth. In this instance, I have met countless primary schoolmates in MJ, in my class even, at bus stops.

It was refreshing to see them again.

Over the days, I’ve also noticed how inextricable linked we are to each other. who knows, your friend might be your distant cousin if you do some digging up. One person knows another, that person recognizes a person’s sibling…this can only be attributed to either:

1. Luck
2. Fate
3. Singapore is a pretty small country

Vote the latterest.

Some other things noted from the past few days.

It takes a very special person to make one person truly happy, to fulfill one’s gratituous needs. Salutations are barely enough and neither are brownie points. It takes dialogue, communication and understanding (and other shit) to pull of a relationship: only a short one.

It takes love to pull of a long one.

I read reviews about The Leap Years, the one with the good looking perfect on-screen couple.

Tear jerker? Check.
Cheesy dialogue? Check.
Rain scene? Check.
Kiss? Check.

Person to watch it with? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK. Please don’t bail.

Besides that, I’m guitar hero crazy. Off to play!
