Chapter Thirty Three: Lamentation

You know, actually there’s no use lamenting about how you’ve had the worst day of work or the worst day of your life and the worst build up to a day or a worst birthday or anything because typically…such things only last for a day.

People have bad days and bad times but once your mind is clear, so is everything else. So when you have a bad day, sleep it off and everything’ll be fine. Until then…Must Be Positive!–> effing irritating catchphrase of Patricia Mok’s on TV mobile.

And I believe that this Christmas is not the best of Christmases I’ve ever had but for others I’m sure it is. Being altruistic and a believer in karma, I believe that I must have done some shit before this to deserve bad days which have totalled to 5.

But who cares when you have Rachel.

And who cares when Evonne calls in the middle of the day.

And who cares when a certain someone (I don’t know if I can say) is getting married. Not Ms Koh, I got my news from an untrustworthy source. This time, I heard it from the person herself. So congratulations! You have no idea how happy I am for you and well, that IS the best Christmas anyone can receive.

And who cares when Zheng Jun, Gladys, Daphne, Yap Seng and Thong Kiat dropped by work to wish me a merry christmas and happy birthday.

So throw at me what you want God, but if I keep hearing news about people getting married then I’m fine with it.

So to all, a very happy christmas and a merry new year. Anyway, there are 12 days of Christmas so until January 7, gifts are NOT expired.
