Chapter Eight: Spontaneity
Yesterday’s work was really no joke. As usual, for most part of the day that spanned from 5-9, there wasn’t much action and only a lot of cleaning for me. Then after 9 onwards, people kept on coming and by 10 or so, the people came in droves and it was really busy.
Dwayne came by and sat for 3 hours planning for his breaking comp today (good luck!) and spent money watching me getting all flustered. The crew were being really nice yesterday asking me if I was OK, asking me to calm down but I wasn’t comforted by the fact that they said waffle day was still busier.
And I don’t look forward to tomorrow because there’s religious class exam and I have to work a full shift with the Operations Manager and hopefully I don’t screw up.
After work, sat and talked with Dwayne at Gelare itself and Alon (the manager) just gave us a free sundae, was super grateful. Then we decided to hang out somewhere else deciding where, wanted to watch midnight movie then his parents called and after all the drama, we ended up at East Coast.
This may sound a wee bit gay, but we ended up sleeping beside each other at the Beach but we had an amazingly fitful sleep and woke up to a brilliant sunrise at ECP. Lol, Imee and Abby are going to start calling me gay here but ah, heck.
Went home and abandoned Dwayne at 7.30, and I’m still quite tired. Sleep!
Have a good one, I hope I do too

I used to worry about the time/That I lost my teeth along the line/So I carved the apple from my eye/And gave it to you before I went away
