Chapter One: A New Beginning
I decided to come here because I am sick of detractors and am prepared to take a backseat to all of that and come here where I can savour that elusive inner peace.
So Wednesday was grad/prom/glitz night and certain things spoilt it (like myself) but the pictures for the night readily made up for everything. Here it goes.
/
Went to David’s house to change up and meet Nicholas for soundcheck a full hour before the arrival of the rest of the cohort. Nicholas spent a good time styling his hair citing the fact that he at least at one person to impress, a casual but still snide remark at my apparent singlehood. hmm..

Nicholas Ow was one of the first who arrived with obligatory duties to fulfill.
Then Charles came, looking good. Nick, Charles, Me.
David and Me.

Yong Quan, Me and (Gavin).
Me and Biondi.|

Me and Roderick.

Me and Roderick who appears to be holding an alcoholic beverage but it is just actually Coke, on rocks.

Me and Imee. Imee kept her word that she was going to be taller than me on the night itself. But still beautiful though.
Mr Lee’s address to which apparently no one listened to much.
Kabeer and me.

Me and Xiao Xuan. Her hair just goes to show that what you see in pictures and what you see in real life are two different things. But, pretty.

Me and Sohail. He looked pink, tall and a head taller than me that day.

Me and Diniy. A man I’ve known for 6 years.

Me and Kenneth Chew. Unfortunately, he too is a head taller than me.

Daryl Manoo and me. The third who is a full head taller than me.

Donna and Me. Thanks for being such a dear.

Me and Stephanie and the whole world moving behind us. She looked 18/19 that night, though that fact is not obvious in the following picture.

Sophia Lee and Me. Pretty, sophisticated, mature. Lucky you Tsz Pui.

Me and Myung Won/ Myeong Weon. He was such a dear that night.

The following picture is a Korean love story. Sumi and Lee Myung Won. Sumi looked amazing that night and as I type this I hear a chorus of male voices concurring.

Jo and Me. Amazing woman I’ve gotten to know.

Me and Linda Yeoh. Wonderfully deceptive in a good way and a good-natured woman, I’ve had the privelege of knowing.

Michelle “brown eyes” Aw and me. Cute girl with freaky eyes.

Apparently she was unsatisfied, but I was happy to oblige anyway.

Me, Mr Prom King, Daryl and (Charles).

Ari-Arihant, Nicholas, Me and Diniy.

Bernard and Me. He wasn’t so tall the last time I was with him.

Sharifah, Me and Tasha. My hands were in a pretty akward position and I didn’t know where to put them and since they were so close, you know what I “accidently” brushed.

Poon Jing Han, Me and (Michelle). One of the loudest but loveliest people that I’ve gotten to know and who’s very tolerant and opinionated. By the way, look at Syjia in the background—> Totally hot stuff.

Rachel and Me. To think that over four years, over right and wrong and over in the face of countless adversities, we’ve made it through together. I’m glad that we are where we are today and am still simply, madly, truely obsessed over you. Thanks dear.

Me and Cliffton. A man many have labelled with countless names but one I’ve stood by and try to stand by all this time. And the only man to look dapper in a suit that night. Hot stuff.

You get what we’re kind of obsessed over.

Four pretty girls from left to right: Janice, Natasha, Rachel and Xiang Yu.

Bao Xian (who looked unrecognizable) and me.

Me and Cheryl Tang who has been a dear all this while and kept a rather amiable relationship with me. Who says short can only look cute?

Selena and Me. Someone I’ve got to know through Xiao Xuan I think. For once, that night she looked like she had eaten something in a long time.

Woo Wan Fong and Me. Pretty woman who unforunately didn’t come in Crocs. I was hoping she did.

Michelle Aw (again…) and Me.

Me and Syjia. The picture speaks for itself if you get what I mean.

Me and Terence. One who thinks maturely, listens maturely, speaks maturely and that night, looked as if he was working already.

Edmund and Me. My perpetual nerd buddy but cool enough to hang out with.

Justin and Me. His chest looked as if it was about explode in my face.

Kenneth Chan and Me. What a big huggy bear, just like the man above.

Paulina and Me after I saw here sitting along as her whole table abandoned her. But what a wonderful woman.

Charles who started to sing , ‘Somebody kill them please…bullshit.’ Now that is courage.

Michelle Aw, Rajan and Myeong Weon.

Shi Xiang and Myeong Weon. Two of the very insanely whimsical fools that I’ve gotten to know and thoroughly enjoy the company of.

Me and Muhammad. Yes, thanks Imee for taking the picture at such a beautiful angle. Muhammad has endured my endless tormenting for the most part of four years but he’s been cool about it. For looking cool in a vest, and not looking like a Mat…congratulations!

Me, Mr Tan and Nick. I made him crouch down a little bit, that’s why it looks a bit unnatural. But thanks to Mr Tan for getting the most out of everyone all these years.

Me and Asheem. A man who has big dreams and I’m sure will fulfill them.

My date for the night, Abygail Tan Li Shan who looked wonderful. And countless thank yous cannot express how much I appreciate the presence of herself in my life (so cheesy). But anyway, thank you.

Me and Yexi. A man I had gotten to know through the twins, Zhiyi. Oh wait, he’s in the picture as well!

Me and Zhiyi who attempted to take a picture but Rahul butted in.

Then Ryan grinded his gluteus maximus against mine.

So, from left to right: Nick, Me, Ari, Sohail, Ryan, Terence, Rajan, Diniy, Rahul, Zhiyi’s hand.

Me and Rajan who has never taken so many pictures before in his life.

Me and Sue Ann. I’d gotten to know her….I just knew her.

Me, Leon OH and Rahul. Cool fedora by the way.

Wei Ru and Me. Another of Abby’s group I’ve had the privilege of knowing because she’s such a dear as well.

Me, Syjia and Kabeer. It was Kabeer’s idea because we wanted to see.

Jevonne and Me. I remember she had the same dress as someone else but still she pulled it off. Someone definitely fun to be around.

Me and Kitson, my nukezone buddy.

Xiao Xuan and Me. She’s another I’ve forgotten how I had gotten to know but never regretted knowing.

The bunch of people dancing to open up the dancefloor.

Me and Cheeyang. Someone who’s synonymous with the word money but almost not at all proud or anything. He’s such a pretty and good boy.

They started doing this whole line that went around the ballroom, lol!

Song Yang and Me. Mr moon face.

My dream girl and me. Now this is something to which someone can say ROFLMAO.

They opened the dancefloor and everybody started “dancing”. I’d rather not use term clubbing (although it looks like that) because we were in a ballroom and you don’t call jumping and moving around clubbing…right?

Mr Lee Yan Kheng and Me. A wonderful principal whom we’re lucky to be with for a year and I’m sure he’ll do well for TK and bring us forward further.

Me and Weirong, so sweet looking.

Edmund Chew, Me and Gavin. Be amazed by Gavin’s skill at taking a picture.

Grace and Me. Dwayne Happy? I edited the picture so that you couldn’t see her hair and this holds true to the fact that ignorance is bliss, go figure. Let’s just say she looks so much better not dressed up but pretty all the same. And I’ve enjoyed her company whenever I could get it, so thank you.

Tan Xiang Yu and Me. My major exam sit-in-the-hall partner who sits next to me. And well, I’ve done OK in exams because I’m distracted by the person next to me. A viable excuse. She’s insanely pretty with braces, without? Picture it.

Finally a decent picture of me and Zhiyi.

Rahul and Imee. Quite pei.

Natasha Macintyre and Me. So demure and oh-so-pretty.

Abby “Geeky Smile” Tan and Rahul Prem.

Me and Daphne. Small but filled with lots of heart.

Terence Tay, the ruffles-obsessed boy.

Janice and Me. Cute and I’ve heard a lovely person to be around.

Lynette insisted.

Me and Sara. Sweet one whom I’ve kept up a steady relationship with and hope I continue to do so. She’s one not worth to lose for anyone.

Lynette and Me. What more can I say about a woman who’s there to oblige my irritating insuinations? Her inexpensive dress which made her look like a queen.

A spur of the moment picture. Lynette, Me and Cheeyang.

Diniy and Xuan.

Me and Istilah.

Me and Weekang.

Wei Xuan and Me.

Me and Yi En, who really came in t-shirt and jeans.

Myeong Weon and Me.

Meng Yee and Me. E – M- O, if you can’t read.

The Usuals feat special guest: Me.
Left to right, top to bottom: Jo, Shearen, Donna, Nicole, Wei Ru, David, Imee, Abby and Me. I have never and will never regret knowing the whole group.

Sohail, Mr Lee and Diniy.

Me and Rajan fondling each other.

Me and Edward Li.

Abby and Me. This must have been the 1000th picture.

Me and Nicole. She looked amazing in red that night!

/
I ripped the following pictures from people. Xuan and Me. FYI, I’m not looking at her bosom.

Syjia. By the way, to maintain hilarity in the issue of Prom/Grad/Glitz, look at Yi En standing to right of the picture, savouring Syjia’s outfit. Can’t blame him, who couldn’t resist? I told you nerds still need their daily supplement of eye candy.

Abby and Me (AGAIN!)

Abby and Me (AGAIN!)

Abby….Oh forget it. She was my prom date so you can’t blame me for taking too many pictures with her.

The Usuals + me once more.

Nick, Charles and Me.

Me and Cliffton.

To wrap it up, here’s Me and Rachel posing for another camera.

What an amazing night it was. I have pictures of what happened after that, but I’ll do that tomorrow.
Have a good one.

HEY…WHERE AM I?!?!?!
OH MY GOD!!!!! I DIDN’T TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU?!?!?
